Microcement is a coating just a few millimetres thick, applied by hand, layer by layer. Floor, wall and shower tray become one surface, without grout lines. The result depends almost entirely on the preparation of the substrate and the hand that applies it.

Sample
Colour, texture and finish agreed on a real sample before we begin.
Substrate
Cleaning, repair, primer and mesh. A stable substrate is the condition for everything.
Application
Thin layers, by hand, with the right time between each one.
Sealing
A final protective coat matched to use: floor, bathroom or kitchen.

Can it go over existing floor or wall tiles?
In many cases, yes — with no demolition — provided the substrate is sound and stable. We confirm this on the visit.
Is it suitable for bathrooms and showers?
Yes, with the correct preparation and sealing for wet areas.
How long does it take?
It depends on the area and the substrate. The timescale, including drying times, is set out in the proposal.
Which microcement system do you use?
We work with Richimi microcement. Primers, layers and sealer are chosen for the substrate and the use of the space.
Is it guaranteed?
Work carried out by Master's Touch is covered by the applicable legal guarantee and/or the guarantee set out in the contract, according to the nature and type of work. The guarantee covers workmanship defects attributable to the work carried out. It does not cover problems arising from damp or water ingress of external origin, structural causes, work by third parties, improper use, lack of maintenance, force majeure or areas that were not worked on.
How much does microcement cost per square metre?
It depends on the area, the substrate, the preparation needed and the finish, so a reliable figure needs a site visit. After it, we send the proposal. The site visit and quote are at no cost.
Do you apply microcement in bathrooms in Loulé, Almancil or Vilamoura?
Yes. In Boliqueime, in the municipality of Loulé, we applied microcement to bathroom walls and vanity units. We work across the Algarve, from Lagos to Tavira.
